This information is for authors who were notified that their paper was selected for presentation at SMTA International.
Congratulations Speakers!
Your paper was selected by the Technical Committee and scheduled for presentation at SMTAI 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. Please complete and return the Contact Information Form to verify your correct mailing information for conference correspondence and to confirm your participation (or a co-author's) as a speaker at SMTAI. If you are the contact for the paper and the speaker has not been identified, please complete the form with your information and insert TENTATIVE after your name.
Conference Registration
A registration fee is associated with SMTAI and all speakers, panelists, chairs, and co-chairs are required to register for the conference. A special 50% discount (on member or non-member conference registration) is offered to speakers. Hotel and transportation are also the responsibility of each speaker. Check out the special Conference Packages available and note that there is no additional cost to attend the AIMS/Harsh Environments Symposium in 2011. Register by Friday, September 23 for the 'Early Bird' discount to get the most value for your conference dollar. Members save even more! Please note that registration rates increase when the early bird expires.
Hotel Reservations
We encourage you to make your reservations at one of our two show hotels (Omni and Sheraton) as soon as possible to assure that you have the accommodations that best suit your needs. Attendee support of the official show hotels allows us to hold our annual conference at such a wonderful property and is also the most convenient option for our conference attendees and exhibitors!

Technical Papers - Final papers are due on Thursday, August 4, 2011!
To help you prepare your technical paper for the Proceedings CD-Rom, please review and use the SMTA Technical Paper Format Requirements which also include a sample paper for visual reference.
The 8.5 X 11 and A4 templates are also available to help you start formatting your final paper correctly.

Send your presentation to SMTA and to your session chair by Monday, September 12 for review. Speakers are also encouraged to bring presentations on a flash drive.

Your abstract was accepted and scheduled for presentation with the understanding that a written technical paper for the Proceedings CD-ROM and a PowerPoint presentation at SMTA International are required for all speakers.
Papers (6-10 pages including tables, graphs, and images) are due August 4, 2011 and should describe significant results from experiments, emphasize new techniques, and contain technical, economic, or appropriate test data. Technical papers and presentation materials must be original, unpublished, and non-commercial in nature.
